  When the workload question came up I measured instead of estimating — calendar parsed programmatically, 135 recorded meetings, mail, Slack, 867 build-session transcripts, ~860 commits, overlaps merged. Sixteen distinct functions, each with its hours accounted for.

  Engineering, emergency medicine, and medical school.

  • Led EU MDR remediation for device portfolios of roughly $300M in annual revenue and $252M in value at Cardinal Health, Medtronic, and Mozarc Medical, with teams in five countries.
  • 500+ patients as an EMT through COVID; then attended Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, including trackside medicine at 30+ Formula 1, MotoGP, and NASCAR races.
  • M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Clinical reasoning is still how I approach ambiguous, high-stakes problems.

  Stood up a certification nonprofit and its for-profit arm, then kept them in good standing.

  • Coordinated the legal filings and registrations with outside counsel: IRS Form 1023, fiscal sponsorship, a certification mark, SAM.gov/UEI, state registrations, insurance, and tax setup.
  • Built the certification body's operating platform: audit operations, the certification pipeline, and a partner-facing portal.
  • Kept its Standard consistent across every surface that encodes it, so a one-clause change lands everywhere at once.

  From sourcing standards to the school lunch line.

  • Built the operations behind a clean-food certification whose Standard covers how food is sourced (organic, pasture-raised, no CAFO), how it is handled, and the conditions kitchens work in.
  • Ran general management for a school food-service pilot, and shipped the kiosk system its kitchen runs on every weekday.
  • Built a sourcing marketplace for certified products and a statewide outreach list of 133 districts for a clean-food funding push, inside a studio whose portfolio includes regenerative agriculture.
